The Ocvett pukhoor is a remarkably resilient Toda edge motif that secures the garment. Each artisan has her own signature way of embroidering it. In this saree, we have brought a complex version of the motif beyond the edge, allowing it to shape the entire piece.
Worked in navy and maroon on linen, the Blue Orchid saree explores a different colour language within Toda embroidery.
Each saree takes close to two months to embroider by hand. Sold without a blouse.
