Originally conceived as table runners, these pieces evolved into something else entirely. The density of the embroidery, the time taken, the dimensionality and the authority of the pattern made it clear they were not everyday linens.
Each panel is hand-embroidered by a Toda artisan over several weeks, drawing from a vocabulary of motifs that has travelled across generations. The work is fully reversible and executed without frames or grids — counted by hand, guided by memory.
Designed to move between spaces, these panels can rest on a table, hang on a wall, or be worn as a wrap. Their weight and detail allow them to hold space — not as accessory, but as textile presence.
