Small diamond motifs are evenly spaced at the intersections. At both ends, the pattern shifts into a mix of bands and geometric forms, offering a more contemporary interpretation of traditional Toda elements.
The fabric is markedly finer than the traditionally used coarse cotton, requiring precision and sustained attention at every stitch. Each piece takes several days of exacting handwork to complete.
