A rare Toda embroidered sari developed on an exceptionally soft and lightweight custom weave of organic cotton and Merino wool.
The pallu flora motifs draw on the wild balsams and forest fruits of the Nilgiri shola forests, interpreted through intricate Toda hand embroidery.
Each sari requires approximately 45 days of hand embroidery. Subtle variations reflect the precision and individuality of the artisan’s hand. Sold without a blouse.
The saris are available in exceptionally limited numbers. Each arrives in a reusable cotton bag, accompanied by a note about the makers and the embroidery tradition.
