The rhododendron arboreum, native to the Nilgiris, is block printed at the edges of this stole, alongside Nilgiri motifs. Stripes run the length of the cloth, also block printed. Toda embroidery edges the cloth — the geometric language of the Toda indigenous community, worked in red by our Toda women artisans.
Crafted from custom-woven fine linen, the fabric is light, airy and fluid, draping beautifully against the body.
