A rare Toda embroidered sari developed on an exceptionally soft and lightweight custom weave of organic cotton and Merino wool.
The pukhoors (motifs) seen in this design represent the gateposts and the ties of the buffalo pen, which is sacred to the Todas.
Taking approximately 45 days to embroider by hand, each sari carries subtle variations shaped by the rhythm, precision, and individuality of the making process.
Produced slowly and in exceptionally limited numbers, these works are shared through private enquiry.
